Breezepelt's Memories - Part Two

---I need to see you again---

Breezepelt trotted after his father and onto the gathering island. Only Cometclan was already there. Breezepelt spotted the golden pelt of Amberleaf the Fireclan deputy. The grey tabby fur of Littlethorn and the bright ginger pelt of his new mate Mapletail. With a nod from Onestar. Breezepelt hurried to the center of the island. He paused to say hello to the Fireclan medicene cat. Featherstorm was a gorgeous silver she cat with white tabby markings.

She nodded a greeting to him. Then Breezepelt nearly tripped over another cat. The cat whipped aroud. And Breezepelt found himself nose to nose with Rabbitpaw. "Hi." She said jerking back from him. Another cat slid over, but before the rusty brown tom could say anything the other clans poored into the island. And the gathering began.

Icestar leaned forward to announce his clans well bieng last. "Cometclan is doing quite well. We have two new apprentices. Pinepaw, and Rabbitpaw." He gestured to where the two young cats were sitting. Breezeplet shook his head what was his problem!? He couldn't push away his annoyance as Pinepaws tail wrapped around Rabbitpaw's side.

Icestar continued talking. He even announced that Mapletail was expecting kits. The she-cat blushed. Littlethorn leaned over and licked her cheek. Breezepelt called congratulations along with several other cats. Mapletail was accepted. But Littlethorn was well liked.

Finnally it was simply time too mingle. Breezepelt chatted with Littlethorn for several moments. Before he moved onto Rabbitpaw. The apprentice was standing next to Pinepaw. "So... Are you too siblings?" Breezepelt had to ask. Pinepaw shook his head "Nope!" Suddenly the apprentice looked up. His name was being called. He trotted off.

Breezepelt shifted awkwardly. Rabbitpaw's yellow-green gaze was fixated on his jaw "How's you're lip healing up?" She asked. Breezepelt licked the scratch "Much better now. It took its time healing." He took a step closer to her. "You fight well.... For an apprentice." Rabbitpaw smiled at him "Thank you." She responded.

Breezepelt glanced around awkwardly "Ok... This sounds insane." He whispered leaning somewhat close to the apprentice "Will you meet with me? On the border? Tomorrow night. I wan't to talk too you. And not awkwardly like this." Rabbitpaw looked up at him. It took her awhile to repond "Sure. You're right it does sound insane." She said "But interesting. See you then Breeze-brain."

She turned tail and dashed to catch up to a large dark grey tom. Considering the proud grin he gave Rabbitpaw. Breezepelt figured that was her father. He had the same eyes as the small she-cat too.
Breezepelt was so happy. He was a total idiot and had made a awful decision that could endanger him and the pretty young she-cat. But he was happy he would get to see her. Without prying eyes.

Breezepelts Memories - Part One

Breezepelt wrapped his black tail around himself. Shivering in the chilly open-moor breeze. He looked down the sloping field. And too the partially two-leg place part forest territory of Cometclan. He sighed, he could still remember the rushed gleeful feeling when Rabbittail burst out of those woods and ran straight too him. Even though he tried to block it out. The memories flooded into his head.

----The Meeting---

Breezeplet sniffed the air. He froze "Heathertail!" He hissed and jerked his head around. The windclan she cat was struggling through a thick patch of grass. "I smell something" He said to her. It was a strong smell, Cometclan smell. And they were still pretty far from the border. He crept closer. Then crouched and wiggled his haunches slightly "Sill kitty." He muttered and launched forward.

He bowled the small she cat over. She tried to jerk away, but he was quite a bit larger and stronger. She turned her self over. Breezepelt blinked down at her. She was quite pretty. She had light brown fur that was speckled with white and darker brown. Her eyes were a deep yellow-green color. He was busy staring down at her when she hit him hard in the jaw with a white paw.

Breezepelt tumbled away. "Youch..." He muttered he could taste blood. The little she cat lept to her paws. Right before he could leap at her again another cat that he actually recognized jumped in front of her. "Autumnstar?" He growled. The she-cat was the color of fallen leaves. Her fur shifted from brown to ginger to golden. She had a strikingly bright diamond shape under her eye. The leaders symbol.

Autumnstar was the leader of Arcticclan. Therefore one of the leaders of Cometclan. The other leader Icestar led Fireclan. The ginger splashed she-cat glared at him with her amber eyes she blocked the other cat with her tail "Rabbitpaw! Stay back!" She hissed then continued to speak to him "Really? Windclan certainly got aggressive hmm? We're headed to the Moonpool mouse-brain."

She turned away from him and began to head away. Breezepelt let them pass, Heathertail slid up next to him. Her fur brushed against his. Rabbitpaw watched them for another moment before bounding after Autumnstar. Heathertail jabbed a claw into Breezepelts side "Ow!" He snapped. She looked at him with a shockingly warm smile. "Stop mooning, lets get you home and get that lip treated m'kay?"

Breezepelt glared at her "I'm not mooning over Autumnstar!" Heathertail glanced back at him. "I wasn't talking about her." She said teasingly. Breezepelt blushed. And followed her back up the hill.
